Our Skills Development Programme connects local artists and communities with international talent, bringing new skills and perspectives into Portsmouth.
In August 2025, Funk Format is working with Crying Out Loud to present a unique Parkour and acrobatics workshop with international movement artists Said and Brahim. This project is part of our mission to support creative growth, build confidence, and explore movement in fresh, exciting ways.
About the Workshop:
Blending Parkour, street performance, and rhythm-based movement, Said and Brahim’s sessions are physical, creative, and adaptable. They create a space for trying things out, exchanging skills, and discovering new ways to move in the world around us.
Our Skills Development Programme connects the Solent’s movement artists with global talent, offering training, residencies, and collaborative opportunities. This initiative strengthens our local arts scene while building an international network of creative practitioners.
