Breakin Convention

Breakin Convention 2017 in Southampton

On the 17th of May, Funk Format were invited to perform at the respected Breakin Convention, which was held in Mayflower Southampton. As part of the pre-show, our Ambassadors and volunteering dancers grooved as they pleased at the foyer of the theatre. This meant that many people walking past the convention saw the talent that Funk Format has to offer. Also, respected dancers from all over the world were watching us inside.

The main event had breath-taking performances from the local talent of Portsmouth and Southampton, legendary South Korean Bboys to South Africa’s the Soweto Skeleton Movers. It was an amazing experience for the children, as they danced and shared with other kids and performers from all over the world.
