Action Hampshire Conference 5 Year Anniversary 2017

On the 18th of May, we have attended the Action Hampshire Conference at the Winchester School of Art. Here, our ambassadors exhibited Funk Format to the attendees of the event. We discussed our aims to shine a positive light on a mindful movement education. We also discussed the past projects we have done, as well as looking at what we have planned for the future.

Our ambassadors were able to improve their communication skills by networking with other fellows from The School for Social Entrepreneurs in Hampshire. Here, we discussed future projects and potential collaborations between Funk Format and organisations. These include ideas such as workshops aimed for the elderly and Street Dance collaboration with Indian community music radio.

Action Hampshire and the SSE is very special to us, not just because they do such amazing work around the world, but also because our founder Sasha Biloshisky is a fellow who has successfully graduated from the school.

Delicious catering service with beautifully presented food was provided by Lilly & Lime LD, who are also a fellow Social Enterprise from the SSE.

The conference helped us gain wider recognition in the Hampshire area. So stay tuned for more projects and workshops!
